How do I book a tour in Thailand with SB Excursions?
Send us the tour, the date, your hotel and the number of guests on WhatsApp at +62 853 3368 5020. We check availability with the operator and confirm the pickup time and the total before you pay.
When do I pay?
After we confirm the date, the pickup time and the total on WhatsApp. How and when to pay is agreed with your booking and depends on the tour.
What is the cancellation policy?
It depends on the operator of each tour and is confirmed before you pay. If the boat operator or a national park cancels for weather, you get another date or a refund.
Are national park fees included?
It depends on the tour, and each tour page says so. The Similan Islands and the James Bond Island tours include the park fee. On Phi Phi it is 400 baht per adult in cash; on the Krabi tours 200 or 300 baht; on Ang Thong and Doi Inthanon it is paid on the day.
Is hotel pickup included?
On the island tours from Phuket, Krabi and Koh Samui and on the Chiang Mai tour, yes. The Bangkok day trips and the Koh Larn tour start at a meeting point; hotel pickup there is possible at extra cost.
Which tours are seasonal?
The Similan Islands are open only from 15 October to 14 May. Maya Bay on Phi Phi is closed every year from 1 August to 30 September. Ang Thong Marine Park is closed from 1 November to 15 December 2026.
Are the tours suitable for children?
Most are. The speedboat tours from Phuket do not take infants under 1, pregnant women or guests over 70, and the Krabi island tours are not recommended under 4. Each tour page lists its limits.
What language are the guides?
English-speaking guides on all tours.
Is insurance included?
Accident insurance is included on the speedboat tours from Phuket, Krabi and Koh Samui. We still recommend your own travel insurance.
Do I need cash?
Yes for a few things: the national park fees on Phi Phi, Krabi and Ang Thong, the temple tickets in Ayutthaya, and lunch on the Bangkok and Koh Larn tours.
Can I book a private tour?
Ask us on WhatsApp: private boats and cars can often be arranged, at a higher price than the shared tours.
Do you have an office in Thailand?
No. Our head office is in Bali (Jl. Petitenget, Seminyak, Bali, Indonesia); the tours are run by local operators in Thailand, and we answer on WhatsApp 24/7.
