Three of Bangkok's biggest sights stand within a few kilometres of each other on the river, and this tour links them in one morning. The Grand Palace has been the royal palace since 1782, and Wat Phra Kaew inside it holds the Emerald Buddha, a 66 cm figure in green stone that has a different set of gold attire for each of three seasons. Wat Pho next door has the Reclining Buddha, 46 metres long. A short ferry ride then takes you across the Chao Phraya River to Wat Arun and its prang decorated with porcelain. The three entrance tickets, 1,000 baht at the gate, are included in the price. Below: what the price covers, who it suits and how it compares with the other ways to do it.
